The novel itself reads easily, for the most part is very atmospheric, unique (again, in my opinion) slightly beyond the measure is written very positive image of Muscovy and his subjects (and the autocrat). I've always said and I say - people are the same everywhere. End of fun. Once again, the novel is good, the ending makes you think, read, was very interesting observations which I had, I also expressed.Thank you for the book, Alexander! Good luck! 

Black Dog. Frankly, at the beginning of the novel, I treated with some skepticism: I'm generally suspicious of modern prose, plus before a February 2010 I have not read your books (this is probably the most important):). Therefore, the novel personally my expectations were met, namely: a great historical background, fascinating story (You think "Well that's all clear, I know what's next", but no), sufficient, in my opinion, the number of adventures and battles, the "live" dialogues, charismatic characters.

Ev Rehsif. Expectations were met. I liked almost everything. What is missing? Maybe tie, the beginning of all the battle scenes come as something without a "surprise" what-if, somehow sharpen ought to be, I can not formulate, re-read myself, can feel it. Still probably would like something new and different in terms of the notorious "law of the adventure genre -  that would not shoot the anemy, so it is necessary to leave him to die. Ie all very interesting, well and good, but if you "invented" any know-how, it would be great. In general, thanks for a good book.
